Our Story

Bride to be Bridal is a 3rd generation owned family business celebrating 68 years of experience in the wedding industry. Our bridal service started with humble beginnings in Myanmar making custom wedding suits and dresses in a small town called Pathein.

In 1948 the family migrated from China to Myanmar. Chen and his wife May were skilled tailors who put their heart and soul into their craft. In 1951 they opened their first home based tailor shop. They quickly out grew and relocated to a storefront in the local downtown area of Pathein where they became the most trusted and renowned bridal destination.

After many years of success, Chen and May went on to teach and passed the art of tailoring to their children and grandchildren who then eventually went on to open shops across Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Today we are now proud to celebrate our grand opening in Washington State, in the year 2020.

Bride to be Bridal is committed to bringing back the beauty and principles of tailoring that past generations cultivated. It is our joy and honor to participate in the best day of people's lives. Making brides look and feel both beautiful and confident on their wedding day is what we do best.
